Ron Marx is registered by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (iO). He sits on the committee of the London Osteopathic Society. He is also a qualified practitioner of Chinese Acupuncture.
During his osteopathic career, Ron has successfully treated thousands of patients with a range of conditions including back, neck and shoulder pain, sports and dance injuries, stubborn headaches and migraines, knee and other joint pains, tennis elbow, repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
To help guide the treatment Ron will initially investigate the underlying causes of the presenting problems. Ron combines a range of osteopathic techniques including deep soft tissue massage, gentle mobilisation techniques and cranial osteopathy. He will also offer advice on such aspects as posture at work and recommend exercises to aid recovery and help maintain better health for longer.
When appropriate, acupuncture is used either as an adjunct or on its own. Ron has found acupuncture particularly useful in the treatment of joint pain, stress, sleep problems, sinus headaches and migraines.
